The City of Walker invites all citizens and neighbors to join us in a grand display of American pride and community spirit at our FREE, family-friendly Celebration in the Park & Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 5th, from 5pm until dark at the Sidney Hutchinson Park, Walker, Louisiana. Let’s honor our nation’s heritage together with a star-spangled lineup of activities, including an Art & Farmers Market showcasing local talent and bounty, a spirited Corn Hole Tournament, an all-American Jeep Show, a pie baking contest, and classic hotdog and watermelon eating contests. The event will be filled with laughter and fun for all ages, featuring a children’s activity area brimming with family games and inflatables. Savor delicious flavors from a variety of food trucks, and enjoy live music from the I-10 Bound Band as we celebrate the freedoms that unite us. As dusk falls, Look to the sky for a breathtaking, professionally choreographed fireworks display—a dazzling tribute to the red, white, and blue!
**Free general parking is available at 13750 Ball Park Road, Walker, LA.**
